In case you use multiple instances of QB version, perform the steps in all of them:

• Head to the Start menu.

• In the search box, write Windows Firewall and open it.

• Choose Advanced Settings.

• Right-click on the Inbound Rules option.

• Choose New Rule.

• Tap on Port and then pick Next.

• Make sure that you have chosen the TCP option.

• Head to the Specific local ports field.

• Enter the ports according to the QB year version:

• QuickBooks Desktop 2020 and later: 8019, XXXXX.
